Introducing Quantum Security 25: Recognizing Quantum’s Real-World Builders
Quantum computing has long been described as the next frontier. But in 2025, that frontier is no longer theoretical — it’s taking shape in businesses both large and small, governments, standards bodies, and research labs around the world. What’s becoming clear is that the quantum future isn’t being defined by machines alone. It is being defined by people building trust, practicality, and purpose into this powerful new era.
That’s why we’ve launched “Quantum Security 25: The Top 25 Most Influential People in Quantum Security.”
Created in collaboration with Techstrong Group and DigiCert, Quantum Security 25 recognizes the researchers, builders, and changemakers turning quantum computing’s promise into tangible progress. These are the individuals advancing post-quantum security, scaling quantum-ready systems, driving new standards, and helping organizations prepare for what’s next.

The Quantum Security 25 celebrates the most influential people shaping the future of quantum-secure computing from around the world. It recognizes researchers, builders, and leaders who are turning quantum innovation into real-world progress — from advancing post-quantum cryptography to driving ecosystem readiness and public trust.
This initiative is presented by Techstrong Group in collaboration with DigiCert.
Anyone making a meaningful contribution to the field of quantum security or quantum computing can be nominated — including individuals from academia, research, industry, startups, government, and standards bodies.
Nominations are open globally. You may nominate yourself or someone else whose work deserves recognition.
Each nomination will be reviewed individually by our panel of judges drawn from across quantum computing, cybersecurity, academia, and industry.
Judges will assess nominees based on their innovation, leadership, and measurable impact, with specific attention to:
-
Breakthroughs in quantum hardware, algorithms, software, and tooling
-
Advancements in quantum-safe security, including post-quantum cryptography (PQC), migration strategies, and standards leadership
-
Quantum ecosystem growth and commercialization, such as partnerships, education programs, production pilots, and community leadership
The goal is to highlight those driving both technical excellence and responsible adoption.
Yes. You may nominate yourself, a peer, a colleague, or anyone you believe is contributing meaningfully to the advancement of quantum security and computing.
-
Nominations close: January 23, 2026
-
Honorees announced: February 11, 2026
